Ansies Laundry and Dry Cleaners began its operations in Kenya in November 2012. Since then the organisation has grown and has been able to see several benefits. In spite of this, the business environment in the country has continued to change. Furthermore, there is real need to review and understand the environment in which Ansies is working in order to come up with strategies that will not only ensure that Ansies stays afloat, but will ensure profitability and an increased presence in Kenya all within context.

In light of this, four strategic areas have been proposed to steer Ansies into its next growth phase:

  • Business Development: This responds to the need or diversified service provision to cater for an increasingly diverse market.

  • Information, marketing and media: The visibility of Ansies needs to increase in order to increase its footprint in the country

  • Corporate Social Responsibility: CSR will ground Ansies in the community within which it works and provide an opportunity to venture into different areas relevant to the cleaning sector.

  • Operations and Financing: This is the backbone of Ansies and through this pillar there will be an onus on proper operational policies and procures in line with the expansion strategy .

Ansies is also aligning its activities within the global sustainability framework and particularly SDGs 8 and 12.
